Busy these days

A lot has happened since my last post. For starters I am babysitting for a family full-time. It's the same family that I posted about a little while back. Erik and I go over there and watch a 4 year old boy and a 10 month old boy, plus a dog, yuck! I'm not a huge fan of dogs. The 4 year old is definitely a handful. Erik and the younger boy are a little more laid back, not demanding much of my attention, which is awesome! With the help of our tax return we were able to take care of some bills and get our money back where it should be. I'm glad I'm able to help with the income in our home it gives us a little more to work with every month. Doug is almost finished with his second to last semester of school before getting his Associates degree in Web Development. We're still trying to decide if he should continue at ITT or if another school is a better option. Erik hasn't done anything new as of late. This week I haven't been working and I have been enjoying the time at home relaxing and being able to get laundry and the house clean and in order. Doug also appreciates when I'm able to make dinner! I'm waiting for the weather to start warming up so we can start going on walks outside, I love springtime and can't wait for it to get here!

Erik update

Erik has been getting a personality of his own lately and with that he has learned some new things.
If he does not get what he wants he will throw himself on the floor and throw a tantrum. He loves to clap his hands and mommy and daddy's. He loves to be held upside down and will arch his back if you hold him and if you don't hold him upside down he will whine and cry. He likes to turn the tv on and off and on and off....etc. Nap time and bed time he is very good. We will lay him down in bed and cover him with his blankets and will fall asleep without getting upset. He loves being chased, it's the funniest thing to him. Whenever I wash his hands after a meal he wants to climb into the sink for a bath. As of right now the one food he does not like is broccoli. He is always so happy and can entertain himself when we are busy. He loves getting his picture taken. When I take a picture of him a red light shines and he will smile really big for the camera, it's so cute. We love our Erik, and enjoy this time we have with him.
