Vacation, and stuff

This past week has been fairly busy for me and I have finally found a moment to make a little post. During Christmas we were able to go and visit some of my family that lives in Arizona. Erik and I drove out with my mom, and dad and brothers and sister. It was a LONG road trip. We were able to see my grandma and a few of my uncles that I haven't seen in years. It was nice seeing everyone. We got to see the Mesa Temple Christmas lights, it was really nice. We also went to Tonto National monument which was cool. It was a pretty steep hike, I know realize how out-of-shape I am. Anyone wanna be my exercise buddy? Erik did very well on the trip there and back. At times he got fussy but overall he was very good. Besides that I don't think I have much more to share. I lead a fairly plain life, which is good. Less drama, less stress. So enjoy the pictures!

This morning while Erik was eating his cream of wheat he kept on shaking his head no, so I asked him if his breakfast was yucky, than he replied by saying "yucky". It was so cute, and he hasn't repeated it since. It was also great because both Doug and I were here for his first word.
